EUROTERMO
Codex has always paid attention to the problems and suggestions highlighted by teachers in the field of safety, drawing inspiration from them to study and develop the solution to the problem, and creating original and non-existent products on the market.
This is the case of the Eurotermo radiator cover, a safety cover for radiators patented in 1998 and designed to ensure safety in nurseries, kindergartens, schools, playrooms, sports facilities and health-care accommodations.
“Eurotermo” is made of a non-toxic, shockproof and anti-splinter plastic tubular, equipped with patented horizontal barrier called “Stopper” to guarantee the impassability of the protection. It’s the ideal solution for securing radiators and preventing unpleasant injuries caused by accidental knocks against them.
Our safety radiator covers are completely made to measure, adapting the structure in case of recesses, protruding pipes or particularities of the wall. The Eurotermo radiator protectors are supplied already assembled, ready for easy fixing to the wall using our “Super Clip” double safety brackets, which can only be opened by adults.
Characterized by a round structure, without any edges, free of protuberances and metal elements to allow the hand to slide continuously in all its parts. The components are assembled under high pressure for a tight connection to avoid their manual opening and the nesting of dust, insects or bacteria.
Protect from impacts and prevent injuries
In accordance to the UNI 10809: 99- 3.3 regulation, the distance of the vertical elements is calculated as a guarantee, at any point, of the impassability of a 10 cm diameter sphere.
Customizable thanks to a wide range of colors
Unlike other radiator covers on the market, our tubular also resists the hammer test: it deforms but does not break.
For elements longer than 140 cm we usually insert an iron profile, spaced from the plastic tubular in order not to compromise the elasticity of the structure and its shock absorption capacity.
